The Haunted Morgue - Unretouched Photos
This is the oldest building
on the grounds at the old Marine Hospital. Now in use by The National
Ornamental Metal Museum, although no one wants to work in the basement, where
the
old morgue used to shuttle hundreds of Yellow Fever victims in the 1880s.
Here's a shot of the entrance
to the morgue. Note the chute that was used
instead of stairs to assist sliding body carriers up and down all day.
Here's a picture showing
apparent paranormal activity in the form of four floating
"globes" of semi-transparent nature. Note the dissimilar shapes
which tend to
indicate that the effect was NOT produced by light tricks in the camera lens.
Here's another shot of
the same area taken seconds later. No globes are visible.
Here's the pictures I have readily on hand, unretouched and
exactly as taken by a Sony Mavica FD-71 still camera:
